Leading groups of growers actively think about the future of Floriday

We are not working on the further development of Floriday alone. Together with growers and buyers from the sector, we are building the digital platform for the floriculture sector step by step. An important role in this is played by the flowers leading group and the plants leading group, in collaboration with Plantform. Two involved groups collaborating with Floriday to brainstorm, test and guide the development of the platform, with the entire sector in mind.

One platform, built with the sector

Within the leading groups, we discuss current concerns, ambitions, and practical pressing issues. What works well? What could be smarter? And how do we ensure that Floriday stays connected to the daily processes of growers and buyers?

The strength of this collaboration lies in the diversity of perspectives. By involving flowers and plants each from their own dynamics, we are building solutions that are widely applicable and contribute to a single common digital standard for the sector. In this, we work closely with Plantform, which is strategically committed to the digitisation of the floriculture industry. 

Buyer-directed orders

Buyer adoption on the platform is also being considered within the leading groups. By encouraging more buyer orders directly on the Floriday supply, we increase the flow of trade through Floriday and make the supply chain demonstrably more efficient. We also do this together with buyers. We discuss what preconditions are important and how Floriday can best support this. 

Developing together

The efforts of both leading groups show how important collaboration is in Floriday's development. By discussing, testing, and looking ahead together, this contributes to the technical growth of the platform, while also ensuring that it remains aligned with the practices of the floriculture sector. Together we are building Floriday. For today and for the future of the sector.
