During the second consultation of the Sector Platform in June, a delegation of growers, buyers, Royal FloraHolland and other stakeholders once again discussed various topics that contribute to a digitally future-proof sector.
With the Packaging Register, we as a floricultural sector are taking important steps towards the digital exchange of sustainability data on used packaging in floriculture. This registry, set up in collaboration with various parties in the supply chain, provides growers, buyers and packaging suppliers with a streamlined way to manage and share packaging data. As well as contributing to a more transparent sector, we are also simplifying the administrative obligations associated with the declaration of packaging materials.
A large number of buyers regularly order from the growers shop in Floriday via Purchase Directly. To make this even easier, you can save the growers shop and receive notifications directly when new supply appears in the shop. This allows you as a buyer to order more quickly and easily.

Since the launch of the revamped Floriday shop, growers have been able to showcase their supply more visually and buyers have enjoyed a clearer and faster shopping experience. We are now taking another important step: from today, the Auction Presales and Daytrade offer will also be visible in the growers' shops.
On 8 April, the first consultation meeting of the Sector Platform was held - a new step in strengthening collaboration between growers, buyers and Royal FloraHolland.
