At the end of 2025, Royal FloraHolland, Plantion and Veiling Rhein-Maas will definitively say goodbye to the Electronic Delivery Form (EAB) for the clock. This is an important milestone towards a future-proof digital infrastructure for the floriculture sector.
The discontinuation of the EAB will create more room for new trading opportunities. For example, Floriday allows you to put your products on the market earlier with Floriday Daytrade, send transport orders and use Track & Trace information. Processes also become more flexible because the commercial and logistical processes – which were linked in the EAB – are separated in Floriday. This gives growers and buyers more control and flexibility in their supply.
Changes to growers' software
Nothing has changed for growers who already sent their deliveries via Floriday's screens. In recent months, software suppliers have made changes to their software to enable deliveries for the clock to be sent via Floriday instead of via the EAB. Three quarters of all growers are now using this new option in the package. If you have not yet taken this step, please ensure that you install or activate the latest update to your software before 1 January. From 1 January 2026, it will no longer be possible to submit an EAB for clock delivery.
Future-proof digital infrastructure
These next steps will increase and increase the flexibility of trading opportunities for growers and buyers, enabling us to develop a future-proof floriculture sector. Together with Plantion and Veiling Rhein-Maas, we are strengthening the digital foundation of the floriculture sector.
