Over the past year, we've been working hard on further developing Floriday – and we'll continue this in the coming period. But what exactly has changed? Product Owner Bas La-Graauw will update you on the most important updates from the past quarter.
More shop visits by buyers
"Shop use is growing," observes Bas. An inviting shop and an attractive selection attract more buyers. Growers can now easily check whether their shop is neatly arranged using a checklist and promote it with a timeline message. "Flower growers, in particular, benefit from setting shop opening hours, because some growers enter their batch prices in the morning after the auction closes. Buyers then know exactly when they can expect supply in the shop."
Farewell to FloraMondo and FloraXchange
"We've been working for years towards a single platform where supply and demand meet: Floriday," says Bas. FloraMondo has been permanently deactivated since December 24, 2025; the integrations on FloraXchange will also be fully deactivated soon. To ensure a smooth transition, VMP integrations have been prepared in Floriday, so users only need to adjust them. "This makes the setup much easier. Buyers can also check the submitted supply in the Floriday screens, and growers will soon have that insight as well," says Bas. "Connecting via an API is obviously preferred, as this integration offers more options for retrieving and sending data and is future-proof. But not everyone can connect to it yet," says Bas.

Expanding Floriday Daytrade
Bas: "The number of growers and buyers using Daytrade is growing, and more and more growers will be joining in the coming period." As a buyer, Daytrade makes it easier to purchase smaller quantities, and the grower can supply larger flows to the hubs while still selling smaller quantities. "Based on feedback from growers, we've now incorporated several features, such as faster batch creation at stock locations, a new SSCC label layout, and call-off on Daytrade supply," explains Bas.

New layout and features for MyShop users
"MyShop has a new look, and MyShop users can now see recently visited growers and products in their Dashboard," Bas explains. Filters and search options have been expanded, and end customers have direct access to RFH apps. A preference setting allows users to choose whether to place orders for KVV supply in their shopping cart first or to proceed directly as an order.

Further developments and experiments
In addition to features that have gone live and improvements that have been implemented, testing is currently underway with adjustments to the availability slider for Catalog prices. Bas explains: "We've made improvements to make it easier to check and adjust a trade item's availability over time. This gives growers more control over their supply." This is currently being tested with a group of plant growers and will then be rolled out more widely. "One experiment that's currently underway is a unique one: growers and buyers can fill the shopping cart together. Whether this is future-proof remains to be seen through the experiments we're currently conducting."
More developments?
Besides major developments, smaller adjustments have also been made, such as the ability to translate timeline messages for international users and a trading setting for buyers that automatically selects trade item variants. More information, such as auction fees, is now displayed for clock orders.
