With trade settings in Floriday, as a buyer and grower you can work together more easily and pleasantly. You can easily set up how you want to trade with each other in a single place in Floriday. Growers and buyers can use a handy dashboard with 'sliders' to indicate how they prefer to work via Floriday. Not only does this provide clarity, it also saves unnecessary work, avoids mistakes and makes dealing with each other more pleasant. In this news item, we tell you about common and new trade settings:

  • Trade setting for manual orders and corrections
  • Trade setting new Connect supply letter
  • Trade setting transport costs (all-in prices only)
  • Manual orders and corrections without approval

Sometimes manual orders can be sent without needing approval from buyers. And growers and/or buyers are allowed to make corrections to the order without agreement. You can define these settings in Floriday in your trade settings. These are:
- Grower allowed to enter manual orders without agreement
- Grower and/or buyer may make corrections to the order without agreement

By default, this setting is 'on'. Let the main user in Floriday adjust this setting by flipping the slider. The trade setting applies in principle to all the associates you trade with. But you can simply make an exception per trading relationship.

Less printing with the new Connect supply letter

In trade settings, it is now also possible to choose the new Connect supply letter. This letter contains more than five batches per letter, reducing the need for printing. Good for the environment and the wallet. By default, this setting is 'off'. Let the main user in Floriday adjust this setting by flipping the slider. Both the grower and buyer must set this to make use of this feature.

Show all-in prices only

As a buyer, prefer not to deal with transport costs charged by the grower? Then you can turn 'transport costs' on or off in your trade settings. If this setting is disabled, orders can only be placed on supply where the transport costs are included in the price.

How do you set trade settings?

The trade setting which you set applies in principle to all the associates you trade with. Don't want that? No problem, you can simply make an exception per trading relationship. In our helpcenter you can read how buyers and growers can configure trade settings themselves, how exceptions can be made for certain associates, and how you can view other users' trade settings. Trade settings can be set by the main user of the account. The trade settings you set will then apply to all users within this main account.
