Many growers and buyers work with their own software/ERP systems. These systems are able to communicate with Floriday through an API link. This enables you to trade with Floriday through your system while sharing data and information. Systems can be linked in different ways, such as by means of the API, the VMP or Florecom. However, the API link offers the most benefits and is future-oriented.

Always real-time stock and supply

With the API link, you have access to real-time stock and supply. Your information will be sent with a single link. Owing to the speed of the API link, there is no delay in the supply visible to buyers; the supply is always up-to-date. Growers know exactly how many orders have already been placed on supply, as the supply counts down directly from the stock. Buyers know exactly what supply is guaranteed to be available. This gives both growers and buyers much more certainty and reliability.

New and expanded trading opportunities

The API link can be expanded with new functions that support trading between growers and buyers even more. The API includes the possibility of working with customised sticker information, certificates, call-outs on contracts, extensive photo information, complaint handling, track & trace (future), customer codes and order status retrieval. The API link brings together the different kinds of order messages we have in our industry in one central location. This complete information is sent in a very targeted way, so that no unnecessary data exchange takes place and you can maintain a much better overview.

High degree of stability; trade can always continue

The API link can send a much larger amount of information back and forth. It is therefore a very stable method of linking. The risk of disruption is many times smaller. Older solutions also involve some noise due to the presence of an additional e-mail server between the two systems. This may cause the message to be perceived as spam. The direct connection of the API, without the intervention of an e-mail server, allows for faster and more stable information exchange.

Your data and information are exchanged with your ERP system in a highly secure way following your one-time consent via your Floriday API key. All data is sent in encrypted form, and you retain control over who can access the data in Floriday.
