From data to orders: get more out of your shop on Floriday

We recently revamped the Statistics Overview in Floriday. This updated Statistics Overview gives you as a grower much more insight than before. Not just how often your shop is visited, but also who visits your shop, what buyers are looking at and when opportunities are being missed. Below you can read what you will see on your Statistics page and — most importantly — what you can do with it to improve your shop and sales through Floriday.

What do you see on the new Statistics page?

On the Statistics page you will find, among other things:

  • Shop views: who looks, who orders and who ends up visiting an empty shop?
  • Visiting times: when your shop is visited
  • Popular products: which products are viewed and sold well
  • Collections: which collections buyers open(and which they don't)
  • Target groups & countries: from which segment and country your visitors come from 

Together, these figures give a clear picture of buyer behaviour in your shop.

Practical tips: how to improve your shop based on these insights

1: Spotlight your best running products
Are certain trade items viewed or sold often? This is a clear signal of what buyers value. Use these products as eye-catchers by sharing them in a timeline post or place the item prominently in a featured collection.

2: Avoid an empty shop
Visits to your shop without assortment are missed opportunities. Look at what times buyers visit your shop and make sure your supplies are online precisely at those times. This is how you increase the chance that interest actually leads to an order.

4: Keep your shop current and visible
Buyers who view or save your shop more often use it as a regular place to do their shopping. Therefore, keep your shop 'fresh' and under the spotlight, for example with a timeline message or by regularly sharing your shop URL or QR code with buyers.

5: See who visits your shop — and exactly who does not
In the Statistics overview, you can see which buyers are viewing your shop. If you see new names, then you know your shop is also generating new interest. A great opportunity to expand your network! Are you missing regular or bulk buyers? Actively point them to your shop, for example through personal contact or a direct link to your shop. Or invite potential buyers to visit your shop by sending them an invite via the Marketing page. 

6: Few visitors? Increase your visibility
If visitor numbers are lagging, it is smart to check the basics first: are your photos attractive? Are you making use of collections? Run through the shop checklist and post a timeline message to actively alert buyers to your shop and your current offer. This will help buyers find your shop more easily and increase the chances of new visitors.

To sum up

Use statistics as a permanent tool to improve your shop: make sure you are more visible to the right buyers, your products are sharpened and your photos are attractive to increase the likelihood of order placements.
