Get ready for summer in 5 steps with Floriday

Step 1: Hand over your work to your colleagues

A good preparation is half the battle won. Is a colleague taking over your work during your vacation? Then check if this colleague also has access to Floriday and the correct permissions are set. In Floriday, the Administrator can temporarily adjust permissions and grant access to certain functions. Don't have an account yet? Create a Floriday account and set up Floriday together so that you know for sure your colleague can take over your work. Go through the screens you normally work in together so that your colleague gains insight into the usual working methods.

Step 2: Working safely with Floriday 

Unfortunately, cybercriminals do not usually take a ‘summer break’. That is why it is important to remain alert during the holiday period as well. Whether you are at the office, working from home, or on the go. Do not open suspicious emails or links and use a secure internet connection. Never share your own account details and passwords, especially not with people you do not know personally.

Tip: Secure your email account by setting up 2-factor authentication (2FA) and using a strong password.

Step 3: As a grower, check the availability of your supply 

It is important for delivery reliability that you can actually deliver the ordered goods to the buyer. Ensure you have a clear picture of what you have and adjust your availability or supply in a timely manner when stock becomes scarce or when you have no stock at all. With Catalog prices, the availability slider now works on a weekly basis. This makes it clear in which week you do or do not have supply.

Tip: Check via the Supply overview which supply is available for a specific moment. You may have overlooked an ongoing customer offer. This way, you can see at a glance what supply you have available this summer and for whom.

Step 4: Pause deliveries via the delivery terms

Do you want to deliver at different times or less frequently during the holiday period? Then you can temporarily adjust your delivery terms. Do ensure that you adjust these again after the holidays. Do you have a summer break? Then ensure that no supply can be ordered for this period. You can pause deliveries for a maximum of 2 weeks via the delivery terms. This way, orders can still be placed on available supply after your summer break.

Tip: Are you taking a summer break, or do you want to alert buyers to new supply? Use a timeline message to inform your buyers.
