Floriday was enriched with new features last quarter, and existing features were further improved. Floriday's Product Owner Sofie takes us through the developments of the past quarter.
Daily prices: an alternative way to market flower supply
“In addition to offering flowers via Batch prices, there is now another way for flower growers to market their supply: Daily prices. This new feature was developed for flower growers who do not work with batches, but often maintain a standard stock of their products,” explains Sofie. By creating trade item lists, daily supply can easily be generated by filling in prices and quantities or transferring them from the previous day. With Daily prices, the average auction price of your own auctioned products is also displayed, allowing you to easily adjust prices accordingly. “Daily prices are not a replacement for Batch prices, but an alternative way to market flower supply. Growers can choose between Batch prices and Daily prices themselves.

Start portal
A Start portal has recently been developed for Floriday. As a user, you can easily view and manage your account details, change your password, or view organization details here. Sofie explains: “The Start portal is particularly useful for users who are Administrators for multiple organizations. They can easily see which users fall within an organization and add other organizations to it, which (RFH) apps they have access to, and check if 2-factor authentication is activated. “Previously, adjustments always had to be made within the Floriday environment of an administration number itself. The Start portal now provides a clear overview and makes these types of settings much easier.”

More insight into orders via Track & Trace
Knowing where your ordered products are located is important for buyers. “We notice that there are many phone calls between growers and buyers to find out when deliveries can be expected,” Sofie points out. The new logistics screens in Floriday offer more insight into the progress of an order. “This allows buyers to plan better for staffing and the supply via the webshop. And growers are less burdened with questions about the current location of the delivery.”

Dynamic prices
Sofie: “Another new feature we are developing is the ‘Dynamic prices’ function. This is a new functionality for offering pre-auction sales that helps growers with their pricing and automatically responds to changes in supply and demand. You set a price range yourself, and the price adjusts based on the market situation. This allows you to maintain control while simultaneously being able to react more quickly to market developments. As a result, you automatically always have the optimal price for your supply and need to manually adjust your prices less often.” Dynamic pricing is being rolled out step-by-step across various product groups. Dynamic pricing also offers benefits for buyers; pricing for pre-auction sales becomes more realistic.

Compact view
Sofie: “Along with the introduction of Daily prices, we also introduced a ‘dense view’. This allows you to see more lines on a screen.” We are now expanding this to other screens, such as the purchase or sales order overview.” You can choose between a dense or normal view according to your preference via the options at the top right.
Corrections & reclamations (complaints) via Floriday
Filing reclamations regarding clock transactions via Floriday is now also live for all buyers. You can submit a complaint based on quality or for search & correction. The relevant department will then follow up on the report. “With your mobile phone, you can easily scan the delivery note on the cart, submit a reclamation, and add photos. That makes the reclamation process faster and easier,” explains Sofie. You can find the handling of the report in Floriday.
